switches are used
to select the

audio
input.
FRONT:
Set
to this position
when
recording audio
signals
from
the
microphone
incorporated
in
the
camera.
REAR:
Set
to this
position
when
connecting
external
microphones
to
the
audio
input
connectors
(XLP
3P) on the rear panel
and recording the audio signals from
these microphones.
