28 Still Picture/Frame-by-Frame Playback, Slow Motion

Still Picture/Frame-by-frame Playback

During playback, press PAUSE k on the remote control. A
still picture will appear on the TV screen.

To advance the still picture one frame at a time, press
PAUSE k repeatedly.

To resume normal playback, press PLAY

During Disc playback, press the SYSTEM MENU button
to access the menu bar.

Press : repeatedly to select H (Slow motion) in the
menu bar.

Press 9 to enter the Slow motion menu.
Playback will pause.

Press ; : to select the required speed: -1, -1/2, -1/4 or
-1/8 (backward), or 1/8, 1/4, 1/2 or 1 (forward). Select 1 to
play the Disc at normal speed again. Select 0 or press
PAUSE k on the remote control to pause the picture.

To return to normal playback, press PLAY
6
Press SYSTEM MENU to remove the menu bar.

Helpful Hints
• You can start forward slow
motion playback simply by
pressing the 9 button during
DVD playback.
• You can pause the picture by
pressing the 8 button during
DVD playback.
