This chapter explains important instructions before starting to install equipment.

Check Packages

Check to see whether all of the items are included in the package.
For more information, refer to "Confirm Contents of The Package" on page xxiii.

Check Mounting Locations

Location for WL Controller

WL Controller can be placed anywhere, however, in the terms of safety and
reliability, it is recommended that it is placed in a machine room or a
telecommunications closet.
When you install WL Controllers, consider the following notice:
Check to see if WL Controller and all the cables are not damaged or
l
faulty.
Locate WL Controller in the appropriate place where it avoids being wet
l
and is provided the appropriate humidity.
Check to see ventilation around WL Controller. Leave space (at lease
l
10cm/4inch or more) between chassis.
Make sure the temperature around WL Controller is between 0°C and
l
40°C (between 32°F and 104°F).
