Fire TV Menu Basics

Learn how to use the Fire TV menu to access your content and manage your device settings.
You can use Fire TV menu on the left of your screen to navigate your device. Dynamic category rows
display to the right of most menu selections, to help you discover all the content available on your Fire TV.

Home

Select Home from the Fire TV menu to access the main home screen.
From Home, you can quickly view your recent items, featured movies and TV shows, content
recommended for you and more.

Ad Banner

The ad banner above the Fire TV menu features offers for digital content (including movies, TV shows and
apps). This banner is there to show the variety of products available for purchase from Amazon Fire TV
devices and cannot be removed.
You can use your remote to select a banner if you want to learn more. The detail page outlines product
information, availability and/or purchase options.

Your Videos

Select Your Videos from the Fire TV menu and go to Your Video Library to access your Amazon Video
purchases and active rentals.
You can also view and manage your Watchlist and discover titles included with Prime (if you're an eligible
Prime member).
You may also see rows with featured or recommended content from selected third-party providers .
Selecting one of these titles launches the provider's app and playback starts automatically within that app.
Keep in mind that you need an active subscription or account with the third-party provider to access this
content.
Movies & TV Shows
Select Movies or TV Shows from the Fire TV menu to browse movies available to rent and buy from
Amazon Video and other video apps installed on your device.
To learn about available viewing options for a particular title, open video details and select the More Ways to Watch.
If you're a Prime member, you'll see titles available to watch with Prime, organised by featured category.

Apps & Games
Select Apps or Games from the Fire TV menu to browse apps and games available to download to your
Fire TV from the Amazon Appstore.
You can find all of your apps in the Your Apps Library row under Apps, and your games in the Your
Games Library row under Games.
You can also access Your Apps Library from any screen using the Quick Access menu—just press and hold the Home
button on your remote and select My Apps.
