Shooting with A (Auto) Mode

Rotate the mode dial to A.
The camera enters A (auto) mode
and can be used for general
shooting.
Battery level indicator
b: The battery level is high.
B: The battery level is low.
Number of exposures remaining
C is displayed when no memory
card is inserted in the camera, and
images are saved in the internal
memory.

Hold the camera steady.
Keep fingers and other objects away from
the lens, flash, AF-assist illuminator,
microphones, and speaker.
When taking pictures in portrait ("tall")
orientation, turn the camera so that the
flash is above the lens.
