Testing the NOAH service port

The Verifit provides the NOAH service using the HTTP protocol to transmit XML-formatted data.
Communication between the Windows PC and the Verifit can be tested using an ordinary web browser.
1. On the Windows PC, enter the Verifit network address and port number into a web browser following this
example:
http://172.30.1.86:8080/noah
2. If the communication is successful, the web browser will display NOAH data formatted in XML:
<noah> Example XML </noah>

Web Service Port

The Verifit provides a simple web server for retrieving information through a web browser. You can also use the
web server for testing the Verifit's network setup. The Verifit and the computer must be on the same network,
with the Verifit network setup enabled.
To use the web server, simply type the network address into your browser's address bar (e.g., 172.30.1.57). The
browser will display the Verifit's web home screen. From here, you can capture the Verifit's screen image for
printing or storing. See the section Printing and Storing results for more details.
