Engine switch

Use the engine switch to turn the ignition system on for starting, and
to stop the engine.

Stops the engine. The key can only be inserted and removed when
turned to OFF.
(ETS, EWS)
The accumulated engine running time and auger-lock indicator.
ON····
Running position, and for starting with the recoil starter.
(ETS, EWS)
The auger-lock indicator on the hour meter comes on, then the
accumulated engine running time is shown.
(ETS, EWS)
START····
Use this position to start the engine with the self-start system. The
starting motor will run.
The switch returns to the ''ON'' position when you let go of the key.
After starting the engine, the dot of the hour meter blinks and the
engine running time is accumulated.
The auger-lock indicator goes off.
