∫ Attaching/detaching the lens hood

While pressing and holding the lens hood release button, rotate the lens hood in
the direction of the arrow to detach it.

Fit the lens hood into this unit.
≥ Align the mounting mark on the lens hood with the mounting mark on this unit.

Rotate the lens hood in the direction of the arrow.
≥ Rotate until it clicks into place.
≥ Depending on the various filters or the MC protector attached to the front side of this unit's lens,
you may not be able to attach the lens hood.
∫ Attaching/removing the lens cap
Protect the lens surface with the lens cap while the unit is not used.
≥ Place your fingers in the recesses on the lens cap to hold it when
attaching or removing it.
≥ To attach the lens cap, align its projections horizontally, and then
push them into the slits on the lens hood until a clicking sound is
heard.
