Focusing the Image Using the Focus Ring

You can correct the focus using the focus ring.
You can also use the projector's Focus Help screen to fine-tune your focus
adjustments (EB-2265U/EB-2255U/EB-2250U/EB-2245U/EB-2165W/EB-
2155W/EB-2065/EB-2055/EB-X550KG/EB-X500KG).
The Focus Help screen lets you correct the projected image under the
following conditions:
• Screen size is 100 inches or less
• Projection distance is about 1.5 to 3.0 m (EB-2265U/EB-2255U/EB-2250U)
• Projection distance is about 1.5 to 3.4 m (EB-2245U)
• Projection distance is about 0.9 to 3.0 m (EB-2165W/EB-2155W)
• Projection distance is about 0.9 to 2.8 m (EB-2065/EB-2055/EB-
X550KG/EB-X500KG)
• Projection angle is about 20º right or left, or 30º up or down
• The projection environment is not too bright

Turn on the projector and display an image.

Press the [Focus Help] button on the control panel to display the Focus
Help screen.

Rotate the focus ring until the two orange circles overlap in the center
of the Focus Help screen.

Press [Focus Help] or [Esc] to exit the screen.
