Test descriptions, judging conditions, etc.
Checks MIDI.
After connecting the [MIDI IN] terminal and [MIDI OUT] terminal with a MIDI cable, execute
the test.
Confirm that the C4 note is output and "MIDI OK" is displayed on LCD.
Connect the PSR-3000 with its appropriate display monitor.
Confirm that the display monitor displays the RGB color code.
Connect the PSR-3000 with its appropriate display monitor.
Confirm that the display monitor displays the RGB color code.
Press the [START/STOP] button first. "Connect USB to Device and to Host" will appear on
LCD. When USB cable is connected to [USB TO DEVICE] terminal and [USB TO HOST] terminal,
"USB to Device/Host1 Check OK" will appear on LCD, immediately followed by "Connect
USB Storage Device".
Pull USB cable off [USB TO DEVICE] terminal and [USB TO HOST] terminal and connect USB
cable of FDD to [USB TO DEVICE] terminal. Confirm that the C4 note is output and "USB to
Device/Host Check OK" is displayed on LCD.
1. Connect FDD to [USB TO DEVICE] terminal and insert a floppy disk.
When no disk is inserted, "NO DISK" will be displayed on LCD.
2. Conduct 10-sector read/write test.
3. Read every 100 sectors from 0 sector.
4. Compare with data after sector writing to confirm agreement.
Confirm that "USB Storage Device Check OK" is displayed on LCD.
Checks smart media (CARD).
Insert the smart media (CARD) with a protect sticker placed on, and then press the [START/
STOP] button. Confirm that "PROTECT CARD" is displayed on LCD.
Pull off the CARD with the protect sticker on and insert another CARD with no protect sticker on.
Confirm that the "CARD OK" is displayed on LCD.
Pull off the CARD and press the [START/STOP] button to compete the checking.
Confirm that "Keyboard Type Check OK (16M)" is displayed on LCD.
Checks ROM connected to CPU bus. (Complete check)
Confirm that "ROM Check2 OK" is displayed on LCD.
Check takes about 4 seconds for PSR-1500 and about 5 seconds for PSR-3000.
Checks RAM connected to CPU bus. (Complete check)
Confirm that "RAM Check2 OK" is displayed on LCD.
Check takes about 2 seconds.
Checks flash memory connected to CPU bus. (Complete check)
Confirm that "Flash Check2 OK" is displayed on LCD.
Check takes about 33 seconds for PSR-1500 and about 60 seconds for PSR-3000.
Checks WAVE ROM connected to TG bus. (Complete check)
Confirm that "Wave ROM Check OK" is displayed on LCD.
Check takes about 7 seconds for PSR-1500 and about 20 seconds for PSR-3000.
Confirm that "Effect Check TG1 OK" is displayed on LCD.
Check takes about 7 seconds for PSR-1500 and about 5 seconds for PSR-3000.
If you execute the Factory Set, data on Internet settings may be lost.
At the next time of turning on power, data are set to FlashROM to be in factory default.
Here, a flag for initialization is set (only when necessary). Execution is made at the next time of
turning on power.
Exits from the test program and enters into the play mode after executing this test.
