Main Menu - Features
BLUEBACK
When no picture is received or when the signal is very weak, the screen reverts to a blue background and
the sound is muted. This feature can be turned Off to continue watching weak signals. It may be
necessary to turn the BLUEBACK off when watching a videotape when CUE or REVIEW has been
selected.
CHILD LOCK
This allows you to "lock out" a channel to prevent a child from watching a particular programme.
Select the channel to be locked before pressing the Main Menu button.
Use the Left or Right button to switch CHILD LOCK ON and OFF.
VCR/GAME
Reproduction of irregular signals such as certain video games or some rental videotapes may be
improved by turning the VCR/GAME feature On.
Use the Left or Right button to switch VCR/GAME ON and OFF.
FAVORITE CH
This feature allows you to store up to nine programmes in preferred channel positions.
Please refer to Page 19.
RGB SKIP
With this feature turned ON RGB will not be an option when you cycle through the AV inputs.
Turn the RGB SKIP ON or OFF using the Left or Right buttons.
WAKE UP TIMER
This feature allows you to preprogram the television to turn ON after a period of time.

SCAN MODE
This feature lets you change the screen refresh method.
Please refer to Page 20.
DE
Detail Enhancement.
This function changes the apparent sharpness of the picture and enhances details in the picture.
Use the Left or Right button to switch the DE between DYNAMIC, STANDARD and SOFT.

Choose the function to change using the Up or

Push the MAIN MENU button repeatedly until
you return to normal viewing.
