Listening to a CD

Connect a CD changer, and you can operate
it with this unit.

CD Changer
Pressing this button starts CD playback.

Disc
Press the disc change button.

Track, Fast Forward/Reverse
Track
Press the track button.
Fast Forward/Reverse
Press the fast forward/reverse button for one
second or longer.
When you take your finger off the fast for-
ward/reverse button, playback will start at that
position.

Scan
To play the first 10 seconds of each track
on the CD being played
1. Press the scan button.
SCAN will light.
2. When you reach the track you want to hear,
press the scan button once again.
Playback will then continue from that track.
To play the first 10 seconds of the first
track of each CD in the magazine
1. Press the scan button until you hear a
beep.

DISC SCAN will light.

2. When you reach the disc you want to hear,
press the scan button once again.

Playback will then continue from that disc.

Repeat
Repeating the track being played
Press the repeat button.
RPT will light.
Pressing the repeat button again will cancel
the repeat function.
Repeating the disc being played
Press the repeat button until you hear a beep.
DISC RPT will light.
Pressing the repeat button again will cancel
the disc repeat function.

Random
To play tracks on the disc being played in
random order
Press the random play button.
RAND will light.
Pressing the random button again will cancel
the random play function.
To play tracks on all discs in the maga-
zine in random order
Press the random play button until you hear
a beep.
DISC RAND will light.
Pressing the random button again will cancel
the disc random play function.
• Since tracks are played in random or-
der, the same track may be played twice
in succession.
