• In Y, C and N mode, [Focusing Area] can only be set to J
(Multiple) or K (Spot).
• In 5, I, > and z mode, [Focusing Area] is set to J
(Multiple).
• If you use the [Focusing Area] function frequently, you can save
time by assigning it to the Green button. (p.58)
Setting the Focus Limiter
You can limit the lens focusing range according to the conditions.
Set the [Focus Limiter] to O (On) to limit the focus to far distances from
normal range during normal shooting and to close distances during
macro shooting. This enables faster focusing.
