SERVICE MODE

A. Market / Region SETUP
In the initial condition of this model, Market information and
other parameters such as"Region code","Tuner selection" and
"RDS availability" are undefined.
In the following cases , Market information setup is necessary.
1. When updating the system software using CD-R
(Part code : 0PRADC9671--2A).
2. When replacing a main board.
While Market information is undefined , the message
"MARKET UNDEFINED" is displayed on the screen when
pushing PLAY key or SETUP key.
NOTE :If "MARKET UNDEFINED" is displayed on the screen ,
Market information setup is necessary.
B. How to enter "Service mode entry"
You can enter "Service mode entry" in one of the following ways (1to3).
Notice : Before entering1"Service mode entry", DVD/CD function should be selected and tray should be closed without the disc.
1. Using the buttons on the main unit
Push and hold STOP button and push PREV button within 1 second simultaneously.
Release STOP button and PREV button and push FUNCTION button within 1 second.

2. Pushing the covered key located beneath Book Mark key on RB-1500 or REM-S1500.
3. Simultaneously pushing both Shift key and ON SCREEN key on RB-SL30K.
