Additional features

These pages show you how to make the most of your Freestyle 1500 Plus.
In talk mode
In talk mode the following features are
available:
Call transfer
Base unit listen on/off
Channel change
Recall
When accessing these features, the last-used
option will be displayed first.
The option you see on the display before pressing
the SELECT button is the one you will set. For
example, if the display shows LISTEN ON, it
means that currently the speaker is OFF, and
pressing the SELECT button will turn it ON.
To select call transfer
Call transfer is available only if you have more
than one handset. You can buy and use up to
three extra handsets displaying the Homepoint
Plus logo with your Freestyle 1500 Plus.

While engaged on a call, press the
button repeatedly until the display shows

TRANSFER
Press the
number of the handset you wish to transfer
the call to.
Your handset will now return to standby
mode; display shows your handset number.
The handset dialled will ring and the call can
now be taken.
If the call is not answered, your handset will
ring and you must answer the call as normal.
Press the
and return to the caller.
If the call is not answered after about 20 seconds,
it will be ended automatically.
To set the base unit listen on/off
During a call, you may want someone at the
base unit to listen in on your conversation.

To switch on the base unit speaker, press the
OPTIONS

Press the
speaker is switched on; the display clears.
At the end of the call, your Freestyle 1500 Plus
OPTIONS
resets the base unit speaker to its default
setting,
