Follow this schedule if the vehicle is usually oper-
ated under one or more of the following conditions.
• Frequent short trips of less than 5 miles.
• Frequent driving in dusty conditions.
• Trailer towing.
• Frequent long periods of engine idling.
LUBRICATION & MAINTENANCE
• More than 50 percent of the driving is at sus-
tained high speeds during hot weather, above 90°F
(32°C).
• Frequent stop and go driving.
• Day and night temperatures are below freezing.
• Taxi, police or delivery service (commercial ser-
vice).
• Off-road or desert operation.
