Preparing the mobile unit
Inserting batteries in the mobile unit
Note:
Please read the safety instructions on page 2 first.
Only use the supplied or permitted batteries,
do not use normal batteries (non-rechargeable) – see
page 18.
Always replace both batteries and only insert batter-
ies of the same type/manufacturer into the mobile
unit.
Hold the mobile unit with the dialling keypad facing
downwards (see Fig. 3). A battery compartment for
2 batteries is located in the lower part of the mobile unit.
To open the battery compartment, press the grooves and
slide the lid downwards in the direction of the arrow (see
Fig. 3). Lift off the lid.
Insert the two supplied batteries into the battery com-
partment as shown in Fig. 3.
Ensure that the batteries are inserted correctly.
The correct polarity is illustrated on the label in the bat-
tery compartment.
Position the lid at a distance of approx. 3 mm from the
battery compartment (see Fig. 3).
Slide the lid of the battery compartment upwards until it
slots into place.
