    10.03 Instruction Manual Application The gray scale flat panel display SMD 21300 CS Order No.: 6GF6201-5WA01 SMD 21300 D Order No.: 6GF6201-5WA03 has been specially designed for medical diagnostics. The display is available for ceiling suspension (CS) and as a desktop version (D). The two displays differ in that the desktop version is supplied together with a stand and cable.

    10.03 Instruction Manual Installation and assembly Distances The unit should be positioned on a hard, level and horizontal surface. It should be positioned at least 10 cm at the side and rear from a wall or 15 cm from other units.

    10.03 Instruction Manual Screen saver • A screen saver function should be used in order to reduce "image sticking" which can occur in TFT displays. Image sticking is the effect where a faint image of the previous screen contents can still be seen after the display contents have changed.

    10.03 Instruction Manual Adjustments Overview All displays are optimally set in the factory so that no adjustments are usually necessary. If adjustments to the settings are nevertheless required, they can be made using the VOSD and SMfit ACT (V3.0 or later) program. The VOSD program is supplied for each display as a Windows version on CD.

    10.03 Instruction Manual Maintenance The displays require little maintenance. Only the illumination properties slowly change due to aging of the LCD unit and the backlight. Therefore the display settings must be checked at regular intervals by servicing personnel according to the regulations, and corrected as necessary.
