  • Page 14 WARNING! To avoid damage to the device, do not use any other kind of SIM cards, or any non-standard nano-SIM card cut from a SIM card. Open the nano-SIM/microSDXC card slot cover on the back of the tablet. Hold the 4G LTE nano-SIM card with its cut corner oriented as shown and slip it into the card slot until you hear a click.

    If the battery is low, there will be a pop-up message on the screen. As you charge your device, the lock screen will show you the exact battery level on the status bar. WARNING! Use only ZTE-approved chargers and cables. The use of unapproved accessories could damage your device or cause the battery to explode. CAUTION: Do not open the back cover of your tablet and change the built-in rechargeable battery by yourself.

Disconnect the charger when the battery is fully charged. NOTE: If the battery is extremely low, it may take a while before the screen displays charging indication and you can turn the device on.

    Setting Up for the First Time When you first power on your device after you purchase it or reset it to factory settings (see Backup and Reset), you need to do some settings before using it.     NOTES:  Touch when you want to. If you want to enter a single letter, go ahead and touch.  Lift your finger at the end of the word. A space is added automatically when you begin to input the next word. TouchPal Keyboard The TouchPal keyboard offers three layouts including Full, Phonepad, and T+.

Connecting to Wi-Fi Wi-Fi is a wireless networking technology that can provide Internet access at distances of up to 300 feet (100 meters), depending on the Wi-Fi router and your surroundings.

    ® Using Wi-Fi Direct Wi-Fi Direct allows Wi-Fi devices to share files and data directly by connecting to each other without the need for wireless access points (hotspots). Your tablet supports Wi-Fi Direct, but you may need to install third-party applications to share data through Wi-Fi Direct.

Therefore, do not remove or replace the card randomly. Set Up the microSDXC Card as Portable Storage When you install a microSDXC card that has not been used on your tablet before, the tablet will mount the card as portable storage by default.
  • Page 60 CAUTION: The formatting procedure erases all the data on the microSDXC card, after which the files CANNOT be retrieved. Set Up the microSDXC Card as Internal Storage If your microSDXC card is new or doesn't have content you want to keep, you can format the card and use it as part of the internal storage.
