2.2 Service Schedule

Perform Service at Intervals Indicated (X)
FUEL SYSTEM
Check the fuel level and fill as necessary
Check fuel lines and replace as necessary *

Replace the fuel filter *
LUBRICATION SYSTEM
Check crankcase oil level and add as necessary
Replace the oil in crankcase *
Replace the lube oil filter element *
COOLING SYSTEM
Check coolant level and fill as necessary *
Check seawater outlet and clean as necessary
Check function of siphon break, if equipped
Replace seawater pump impeller *
Check heat exchanger anticorrosion zinc condition *
Replace heat exchanger anticorrosion zinc *

Flush cooling system *
IGNITION SYSTEM
Clean and regap spark plugs *
Replace spark plugs *
INTAKE/EXHAUST SYSTEM
Inspect exhaust system components *[
Check the exhaust gas condition
Service backfire flame arrestor *
Check and/or replace the catalyst assembly *[
Clean the water passage slots/holes in the exhaust
manifold/catalyst *[
Replace the CO sensor module, if equipped *[
Check the crankcase breather pipe for obstructions *
Inspect the complete exhaust system
ELECTRICAL SYSTEM
Keep battery charged and in good condition ⊕
Check and tighten electrical connections *
Clean battery cables [
ENGINE AND MOUNTING
Check for water, fuel, coolant, and oil leakage *
Retighten all nuts and bolts *
Check tightness of mounting bolts/vibromounts *
Check and adjust valve clearance *
Clean combustion chamber *
REMOTE CONTROL SYSTEM
Check remote control operation
GENERATOR
Test run generator set
Blow dust out of generator *[
Clean slip rings and inspect brushes *[
