REPLACING THE BATTERIES

The Burr Grinder Scale Jar is powered by 2 AAA batteries (included). To replace the
batteries, use a Phillips-head screwdriver to access the battery compartment on the
bottom of your Burr Grinder Scale Jar.
Flip the Burr Grinder Scale Jar
over, and use a Phillips-head

screwdriver to remove the screw
on the compartment cover. Lift
the compartment cover as shown.

CLEANING THE BURR GRINDER SCALE JAR

IMPORTANT: It is important to clean the Burr Grinder Scale Jar after each use. The
taste of your coffee can be impacted if it is not thoroughly cleaned of all grounds
and coffee oil residue after each use.
Wash the inside of the jar by hand

with a damp cloth. Dry thoroughly.
IMPORTANT: To avoid damage, do not
wash the Burr Grinder Scale Jar in the
dishwasher and do not immerse in water.

Replace the 2 AAA batteries in the
battery compartment. Make sure to

use the screw when reattaching the
battery compartment cover.
