Working with the Terminal Connection Manager

The Terminal Connection Manager window appears after you power on your
NetVista thin client.
You work with the Connection tab and the Configure tab on the Terminal
Connection Manager window. Table 5 identifies the tasks that you can do on each
tab.

Web Connection

Your NetVista thin client includes a local Internet Explorer web browser with
integrated Media Player. The Web connection is displayed on the Connection tab of
the Terminal Connection Manager window.
Note: If you did not setup a web connection in the WBT Setup Wizard, then you
Follow these steps to connect to the Internet:
1. From the Terminal Connection Manager window, click the Connection tab.
2. Select Web connection, and click Connect.
To disconnect from the Internet, click the X at the top right corner of the browser
window.

Configuring the browser window

You can configure options for the browser window in one of three ways:
v Using the WBT Setup Wizard
v Accessing the web tab in the Terminal Properties window
v Within the browser window
NetVista thin client web capability provides basic configuring options within the
browser window.
To configure from within the browser window, click View from the menu bar and
select Internet Options:
Select the following Internet options:
1. Enter the URL for the Start page, which is the home page of your choice.
