Solution
1. Plug in shredder.
OFF
2. Move power switch to AUTO (I) position.
3. Push the bin into cabinet to re-align bin and cabinet edges.
4. Move power switch to OFF (O) position and unplug shredder. Using caution, as PS80C-2 has sharp edges
under shredder head, position shredder head over cabinet. Place shredder head on top of cabinet. Firmly
push down on four corners of shredder head to lock shredder into place. Push bin into shredder cabinet
firmly so bin and cabinet edges are aligned. Move power switch to AUTO (I) position in order to begin to
shred.
5. Ensure wastebasket is empty then move power switch to REVERSE (R) position. This will reverse the
jammed paper out of the shredder. If the shredder jams in reverse, move to AUTO (I) and allow to run for 5
seconds. If jam does not clear, move switch to REVERSE (R) again and allow to run for 5 seconds. Repeat
this process until jam is cleared. If necessary, turn off the shredder and use care to grasp the paper and
carefully pull out to clear jam. Once cleared move power switch to AUTO (I) to continue shredding.
6. Move power switch to OFF (O) and allow shredder motor to cool down for a minimum of 25 minutes.
