Ductwork
Toensure optimum performance, the
ducting system ofthedryer s hould be
asshort a spossible w itha minimum
number o felbows. Yourdryer w illwork
bestwhen theventing system hasas
fewairflowrestrictions aspossible.
Exhaust ducting which is longer t han
recommended mayextend drying time,
cause lintto accumulate andaffect
dryerperformance anddryerlife.
Four-inch ( approx. 100mm) d iameter
ducting should beused. U seeither
rigidmetal o rflexible metal d ucting
material. DONOT useplastic or
non-metal ductwiththisdryer.
DONOTassemble theductwork w ith
screws orfasteners thatextend intothe
duct.They willserve asan
accumulation point f orlint.
Joints should besecured with
aluminium tape.
Alljoints should betighttoavoid leaks.
Themale endofeach ductsection
mustpointaway fromthedryer.
Whether connecting toanexisting

system, make surethatallducting is
clean andfreeoflint.

Note:
Side and bottom exhaust installations
have a 90 ° turn inside the dryer. To
determine maximum exhaust length,
add one 90°turn to the chart.
More than two 90 ° turns are not
recommended. For best performance,
separate all turns by at least 4 ft. of
straight duct, including distance
between last turn and exhaust hood.

outlets) are not included in standard
delivery of the dryer.
Accessories
The parts required for the exhaust air
system can be obtained from customer
service or your local dealer. Please
follow the installation instructions
supplied by the appropriate
manufacturer!
