1. INSTRUCTIONS PRIOR TO INSTALLATION

The UB INOX storage boilers, featuring storage capacities of 79 and 123 litres, have been designed for use with wall-
mounted boilers for the production of domestic hot water.

These storage boilers must be connected to a domestic hot water distribution network and to a wall-mounted boiler, as
described in the instructions for fitters.
Prior to installation, make sure it is possible to connect the storage boiler to the boiler!
Connections must be made by professionally qualified people.

2. INSTRUCTIONS PRIOR TO COMMISSIONING

The boiler must be commissioned by an authorised Service Engineer, as indicated on the attached sheet, who should be
called in to check:
• That the installation complies with current regulations.
• That all the instructions concerning correct product installation have been observed.
• That the electrical connection has been regularly made.
• That the system is full of water and at the correct pressure.
• That the storage boiler is full of water; to do this, open a hot water tap until the water flows continuously and uniformly
(make sure the cold water inlet tap is open).
To extend the lifetime of the storage boiler, install equipment for treating the DHW inlet water.
It is best, however, to annually check the magnesium anode fitted to the boiler and, if necessary, replace it if it is exhausted
(see the instructions for fitters).
Make sure no water leaks from the safety valve (calibrated to 8 bar). If it does, check the operating pressure of the storage
boiler.
The equipment has not been designed to be used by people (children included) with limited physical, sensorial or
mental capacities, or who lack experience or knowledge, unless they have been able to benefit from surveillance
or instructions concerning the use of the appliance provided by a person responsible for their safety.
