Video Capture Mode

The Video Capture Mode allows you to capture videos with your digital camcorder.
When the camcorder is first powered ON, it will be in Video Capture Mode.
TAKING A VIDEO
1) While in Video Capture Mode use the LCD display to direct your digital camcorder at the scene you
would like to capture.
2) You can magnify your subject up to 4 times using the digital zoom while capturing your photos and
recording your videos.
Press the UP
The following Digital Zoom Indicator appears on the right side of the LCD screen:
The zoom indicating bar moves up when you Zoom In and moves down when you Zoom Out. The
current zoom magnification appears below the Digital Zoom Indicator as you zoom.

Press the DV/Shutter button to start the video capture.
4) A red, blinking icon appears at the top of the LCD screen indicating that the recording is in progress.
On the top right of the LCD screen, the recording time appears, indicating the amount of elapsed
time as the video is being captured.
5) To stop the video recording, press the DV/Shutter button again.
6) The video is automatically saved to the camcorder's SD Memory card.
TAKING A VIDEO WITH THE FLIP SCREEN
You can also capture your videos using the Flip Screen to quickly and easily include yourself in the
video.
1) Simply flip open the LCD panel and then twist downward until it flips and turns 180.
2) Hold the camera facing towards you at arm's length (30~45cm).
3) Make sure you can see yourself within the scene on the LCD screen.
4) Look at the lens, and then press the DV/Shutter button to begin recording.
It's as easy as twist and shoot!
(Zoom In) or DOWN
(Zoom Out) button to zoom in and out.
