Using the directory and
lists
The following options are available for stor-
ing information on calls, contacts and num-
bers:

Directory

Call list,
Please note
The directory, call list and shortcuts are
saved in the base and shared with all reg-
istered handsets.
Directory
In the handset's phone book you can store
up to 50 phone numbers and corresponding
names. Maximum: 24 digits, 12 characters in
each directory entry.

Press the control key.
Press the display key.
Select NEW ENTRY and press

Enter the name (max. 12 charac-

ters) and press

If the name exists already, DOU-
BLE NAME is shown in the dis-

Enter the number (max. 24 dig-
its).
If the number exists already,
DELETE ENTRY is shown in the

To insert a pause, e.g. if an prefix is added
automatically, press and hold the S key.
Order of directory entries
Directory entries are generally sorted alpha-
betically by name. Spaces and digits have
priority.
The sort order is as follows:
1. Space
2. Special characters
3. Digits (0–9)
4. Letters (alphabetical)
To get round the alphabetical order of the
entries, insert a space or a digit in front of the
first letter of the name. These entries will
then move to the beginning of the directory.
Selecting a directory entry

Open the directory.

Use s to scroll through the entries until
the required name is selected.
Or:

Enter the first letters of the name; if nec-
essary scroll to the entry with the s key.
Dialling with the directory

s Open the directory, select the
desired entry.

Press the talk key.
The number is dialled.
Viewing entries
s
Select the entry.
Select VIEW DETAIL.

Press the display key. The entry
is displayed.
