3.15 How Do I Check Storage of My Phone Memory and
My MicroSD Card?
Touch Settings > Storage, and check storage of the phone memory and microSD card on the
Storage screen.
Issue 01 (2013-04-20)
Usage
Stores key data for system boot and is the operating
system backup partition. After you touch Factory
data reset, the system recovers using data stored in
this partition.
Reserved partition for over the air (OTA) upgrade.
This partition is used when the device supplier or
carrier pushes upgrade patches to users.
Partition used by the Google Android operating
system.
Google operating system requires a microSD card for
operations such as taking photos, transferring files
through Bluetooth, backing up files from a PC. A
virtual microSD card allows users to perform these
operations with no external microSD card configured.
That is, you can use all functions provided by the
Android operating system without purchasing a
microSD card.
Partition for storing data required by operating system
running and application running. Installation files of
applications, for example, Angry Birds, are also saved
in this partition.
Storage space occupied by the file partition tables,
flash factory material bad block flag tables, and lost
space due to formatting.
NOTE
