SITRANS TR300 operation

7.3.1

Operation using a HART modem and SIMATIC PDM

The transmitter can be operated and parameterized with the PC, using the SIMATIC PDM
parameter assignment software and a HART modem.
Commissioning procedure
● For this, connect the HART modem to the output circuit.
● The transmitter power supply must be operational.
● The load in the circuit must be at least 250 Ω, refer to the circuit diagram in chapter HART
● Operation is via the SIMATIC PDM parameterization software.

Operation with HART communicator

Action buttons
This button switches the HART communicator on and off. After switch-on, the hand-held
terminal automatically establishes communication with the transmitter. The online menu
appears on the display.
This button moves the cursor up through the menu bar. The selected menu line is indicated.
This button moves the cursor down through the menu bar. The selected menu line is
indicated.
This button moves the cursor to the right through the menu bar or branches into a
subroutine. The name of the selected subroutine is displayed at the top edge of the display.
This button moves the cursor to the left through the menu bar or exits a subroutine.
