Possible cause
If the dryer is switched off
during a drying programme
or there has been a power
cut:
The dryer is reminding you
that the condenser unit
(heat exchanger unit)
needs to be cleaned.
You can adjust the setting
which controls when or if
the message Clean the
condenser unit appears.
The dryer is not working
efficiently or economically.
Possible cause: A build-up
of fluff or detergent
residues.
The drain hose is kinked.
An attempt has been made
to alter a programme while
it is in progress.
Problem solving guide
Remedy
– After switching the dryer on /
power has been restored,
confirm with OK and start the
programme again.
– Clean the condenser unit.
To delete the fault message:
– Confirm with OK.
See "Settings menu J, Cleaning
the condenser unit".
– Cleaning the filters is usually all
that is required.
However, if the message does
not go out after you have
cleaned the filters, then also
check all the possible causes
described under "The drying
process goes on too long or
even switches off".
To delete the fault message:
– Open and close the door, or
confirm with OK.
You can adjust the setting which
controls when or if the message to
clean out the airways appears.
– See "Settings menu J, Clean
the airways".
– Remove the kink.
To delete the fault message:
– Confirm with OK.
– You will need to cancel the
current programme before you
can select a new one.
