Be sure to check the brake fluid level
in the front and rear reservoirs. If
the level was found to be lower than
the lower mark while holding the
motorcycle upright, replenish with
the proper brake fluid that meets
Suzuki's requirements. As the brake
pads wear, the fluid level will drop
to compensate for the new position
of the brake pads. Replenishing the
brake fluid reservoir is considered
normal periodic maintenance.
NOTE, Rear brake fluid reservoir is
located under the seat.
BRAKE PAD
Inspect the front and rear brake pads
by noting whether or not the friction
pads are worn down to the grooved
limit line. If a pad is worn to the
grooved limit line it must be replaced
with a new one by your authorized
Suzuki dealer or qualified service
mechanic.
FRONT

After front or rear disc brake pad
replacement, do not ride the mo-
torcycle until the brake lever/ped-

to extend the pads and restore the
proper lever/pedal
stroke and
firm feel.
