In certain situations you might need to open some TCP/UDP ports in the SMCWBR14S-N4 router to allow remote users to connect to a server in your LAN. The next example shows how to configure the router to allow FTP access to an FTP server located in the LAN behind the router with the IP address 192.168.2.101.
