Possible Reasons
No, it is red
A processor has failed.
Processor 1 is not installed.
A processor is an unsupported
type.
Processor does not have an
associated PPM installed.
A PPM has failed.
A DIMM has experienced a multibit
error.
DIMM pairs have mismatched
DIMMs.
DIMMs are missing.
DIMMs are an unsupported type.
A required fan has failed.
A thermal event has occurred.
A component is not properly
seated.
Interlock problem
Processor memory board
configuration error

Possible Solutions
Use internal component failure LEDs on
the Quickfind Diagnostic Display to
identify:
Missing components
Failed components
Improperly installed components
Thermal event
For corrective procedures, refer to the
maintenance and service guide on the
Documentation CD that ships with the
server.
Contact an authorized service provider for
replacement parts and service.
Check the interlock LEDs on top of the
front access panel. Be sure that all
components are seated securely.
Ensure the SCSI backplane is properly
installed by reseating the SCSI backplane
board and hard drives.
Inspect the diagnostic LED panel to
determine if one of the processor memory
boards has both its PPM and BRD LEDs
illuminated.
Ensure that processor and PPM are
properly installed on the processor
memory board.
