    Recording paper jam If the unit does not eject any recording paper during fax reception or copying, the recording paper has jammed. Remove the jammed paper. Open the cover by pressing the cover open button. Lift the green lever to release the paper cutter, and remove the recording paper roll.

    Cleaning Thermal head and head cover If dirty patterns or black/white bands appear on a copied/received document, check whether there is dust on the thermal head and head cover. Clean them to remove the dust. Disconnect the power cord and the telephone line cord.
