For data transfer between the
Profitronic and an external report printer
or PC, a 5 m (16.5ft) interface cable
with RJ45 plug is included with the
machine.
The interface cable is connected to
the Ethernet interface on the
washer-disinfector. It is to be
connected to another interface by
Miele Customer Service only.
The supplied cable for the Ethernet
connection on the washer-disinfector
can be used with compatible network
components (e. g., hub, switch).
For a direct Ethernet connection
between the washer-disinfector and an
external device, you will need a
crossover cable.
For connecting the washer-disinfector
to an external device via the RS 232
interface, the supplied cable can be
used.
Use the RJ45 adapter / Sub-D plug
(included).

the interface, refer to the section on
"PC/Printer functions" in the
"Programming manual".
When connecting a printer or PC,
please note the following:
– only use industry standard PCs or
printers,
– select a printer or PC that is suited to
the installation application,
– an extension cord from the serial
interface to the printer or PC must not
exceed 10 m (32'10") and from the
Ethernet interface no more than
100 m (328').
Only HP laser jet printers or
compatible devices are suitable for
use as external printers.
For instructions on how to set the
external printer functions, refer to the
section on "PC/Printer functions" in the
"Programming manual".
