    Power Sources Recharge the batteries before using the unit. Be sure the d and e ends are inserted the right way. … Insert the two rechargeable batteries (included) into the left hand earpiece (L). Push up on the indent to open the lid. Close the compartment lid firmly after inserting the batteries.

    Connections … Connect the transmitter to the AV unit. The cable can be connected directly to a stereo mini jack or to a large stereo headphone jack if the included plug adaptor is used. A a Portable CD player, headphone stereo, radio/ tape players, personal computer, etc.

    Operation … Extend the rod antenna. … Turn on the unit the transmitter is connected to. OPR/CHG … Reduce the volume of the head- phones with the [VOL] dial. … Switch the [OPR] switch to “ON”. The OPR/CHG lamp goes red. Put the headphones on.

    Operation If interference remains bad The radio waves from the transmitter may be being inter- fered with by other radio waves. You can change the frequency to improve reception. ∆ 1 Select another channel with [CHANNEL]. ∆ 2 Turn the [TUNING] dial on the head- phones to the position with least interfer- ence.
