Replacing LED flashing
turn indicators
with LED turn indicators
The LED flashing turn indic-
ators can be replaced only as

specialist workshop, preferably
an authorised BMW Motorrad
dealer.
Removing turn indicator
bulbs, front and rear
Make sure the ground is level
and firm and place the motor-
cycle on its stand.
Switch off the ignition.
Remove screw 1.

Pull the turn indicator glass out
of the mirror housing at the
threaded-fastener side.
Turn bulb 1 counter-clockwise
and remove it from the bulb
housing.
Installing turn indicator
bulbs, front and rear
Replace the faulty bulb.
Bulbs for flashing turn
indicators, front
R10W / 12 V / 10 W
with LED turn indicators
LED / 12 V
Use a clean, dry cloth to hold
the new bulb in order to keep
