The￿front￿side￿airbag￿is￿integrated￿into￿the￿backrest￿on￿the￿driver's￿seat￿and￿front￿passenger's￿seat.
The￿panel￿at￿the￿back￿of￿the￿seat￿reaches￿around￿to￿the￿side￿of￿the￿seat.￿This￿is￿known￿as￿a￿"reach-
around"￿seat￿panel.￿The￿side￿is￿pressed￿out￿slightly￿when￿the￿airbag￿is￿triggered.￿This￿allows￿the
airbag￿to￿open￿and￿develop￿its￿protective￿function.￿The￿front￿seats￿are￿equipped￿with￿a￿seat￿occupancy
detector￿and￿belt￿tensioner.
Crash-active￿headrest
The￿front￿seats￿are￿equipped￿with￿crash-active￿headrests.￿On￿fully￿electrical￿seats￿the￿headrests￿have
a￿button￿for￿adjustment￿of￿the￿distance￿to￿the￿occupant's￿head.
On￿the￿comfort￿seat￿the￿distance￿can￿be￿adjusted￿with￿the￿headrest￿adjustment￿feature.
