5. Slide the computer into the new VESA mount bracket.

6. Install the two screws to secure the VESA mount bracket to the computer.

7. If the ac power adapter bracket is available, install the ac power adapter bracket. See "Replacing the ac
power adapter bracket" on page 106.

Replacing the external optical drive

Attention: Do not open your computer or attempt any repair before reading and understanding the Chapter
1 "Read this first: Important safety information" on page 1.
To replace the external optical drive, do the following:
1. Remove all media from the drives and turn off all attached devices and the computer. Then, disconnect
all power cords from electrical outlets and disconnect all cables that are connected to the computer.
