Procedure
Use your A1404S within 20 cm of another au cellphone. Also, keep your A1404S pointed at
the infrared port of the other au cellphone and do not move your A1404S until data has
finished being sent or received.
Data that can be sent and received
• Phone book entries
• Profiles
• Schedules
• Task lists
• Data in data folders (photos, movies and other data)
In some cases, you may not send or receive data because of copyright protection.
You cannot send or receive some data from some au cellphones even if the other
au cellphone you are communicating with is equipped with the infrared data exchange
feature.
The infrared data exchange feature of the A1404S sometimes does not transmit
properly if the A1404S is used in direct sunlight, under fluorescent lighting or near other
equipment that emits infrared rays.
