Loosen, but do not remove theflangelocknut on the right idlerpulleyand
the hexscrewonthe left idler pulley.SeeFigure 25.

Carefully r emove the beltfromaround the idlerpulleys andthespindlepulleys.
Avoidpinching injuries. Never p lace yourfingers ontheidler spring or
between thebeltandapulleywhileremoving thebelt.
4. Routethe newbeltasshowninFigure 26.
.5. Retighten idler pulleys.
6. Remount t he spindlecovers if removed after step1.
7. Re-install t he deckmakingsurethe belt remainsroutedaroundthe pulleys
asinstructed.
8. Pullthe rightsideof the belt andplacethe narrowVsideof the belt into the
PTO pulley.SeeFigure 27.

Continue h oldingandrotating the pulleyandbeltuntilthe beltisfullyrolled
intothe PTO pulley.

transmission drivebelt replaced.
