PV Shift In certain applications it is desirable to shift the con- troller display value (PV) from its actual value. This can easily be accomplished by using the PV shift function. The SHIF function will alter PV only. Example: A process is equipped with a heater, a sen- sor, and a subject to be warmed up. -
