INSTALLING/REMOVING BITS
See Figure 4, page i.
The auto-load coupler provides fast, easy one-handed bit
loading and ejecting.
The coupler has been designed to accept 1/4 in. hex bits.
To install:

of rotation selector in center position.
 Remove the battery pack from the tool.
 Push the bit into the coupler until it clicks into place.

OPERATION

ELECTRONIC SPEED SELECTOR
See Figure 5, page i.
The impact driver has an electronic speed selector that
offers a high speed of approximately 3200/min., a me-
dium speed of approximately 2400/min., and a low speed
of approximately 1500/min. (stated speeds are with the
switch trigger fully depressed).
Press and release the switch trigger, then immediately
press the speed selector button to cycle through the
available speeds. The illumination of one LED means the
tool is operating at low speed; two LEDs indicate medium
speed; three LEDs indicate high speed.
DRIVING OR REMOVING SCREWS
See Figures 6 - 7, page i.
 Place the direction of rotation selector in the correct
position for the operation.
 Hold the impact driver with one hand.
 Press and release the switch trigger, then immediately
press the speed selector button to select the desired
speed.
 Place the bit on the screw head and slowly depress the
switch trigger. Start the bit slowly for more control.
 As screw is driven, impacting will begin.
WARNING:
likely to be hidden wiring behind the surface. Con-
tact with a "live" wire will make exposed metal parts
of the tool "live" and shock the operator. If you must
drive a screw where hidden wire may be present,
always hold tool by insulated gripping surfaces
(handle) when performing the operation to prevent a
shock to the operator.
