Purging air and checking gas leakage • When piping work is completed, it is necessary to purge the air and check for gas leakage. NOTE • First, purge the air from the indoor unit connection pipe, and then purge the air from the water heater connection pipe. Pump Down Operation In order to protect the environment, be sure to pump down when relocating or disposing of the unit. Remove the valve cap from liquid stop valve, gas stop valve, water heater inlet stop valve, and water heater outlet stop valve. Trial Operation and Testing • Before starting the test run, measure the voltage at the primary side of the safety breaker. • Check that the stop valves of all liquid, gas, and water heater pipes are fully open. • Check that piping and wiring all match. The wiring error check can be conveniently used for underground wiring and other wiring that cannot be directly checked. -
