Tip: To delete several message threads at once, touch
Delete threads. Select the threads you want to delete and
touch Delete.
Protect a Message from Deletion
You can lock a message so that it will not be deleted even if
you delete the other messages in the thread.
1. From a Home screen, touch
Messaging.
2. From the message list, touch a message thread.
3. Touch and hold the message that you want to lock.
4. Touch Lock message on the pop-up menu. A lock icon
displays at the lower right hand side of the message.

Messaging.
2. Before composing a message, press
additional messaging options:
• Search: Search through all messages for a certain word or
phrase. Enter a search string in the Search field and touch
• Delete threads: Delete message threads. Touch each
message thread you want to delete, or touch Select all. Touch
Delete.
• Draft messages: Display messages saved as drafts.
• Locked messages: Display locked messages.
• Scheduled messages: Display scheduled messages.
• Spam messages: Display messages tagged as spam.
• Settings: Access messaging settings.
