5. Click a scheduled task, and then click the Conditions tab.

Managing the power plan

Power plans can help you maximize your computer's performance or conserve energy. You can select a
power plan or customize it by changing its power settings. To achieve this, do the following:
1. From the desktop, click the battery-status icon in the Windows notification area on the taskbar.
2. Click More power options.
3. Follow the instructions on the screen.
Notes: Use Lenovo programs for advanced power settings.
• For Windows 7: Use the Power Manager program.
• For Windows 10: Use the Lenovo Settings program.

Connecting to the network

Your computer has one or more network cards that enable you to connect your computer to the Internet
or other network connections.

Ethernet connections

You can connect your computer to a local network or a broadband connection through the ThinkPad
OneLink+ to RJ45 Adapter or a supported ThinkPad OneLink+ Dock.
DANGER
To avoid the risk of electrical shock, do not connect the telephone cable to the Ethernet connector
on the ThinkPad OneLink+ to RJ45 Adapter or the ThinkPad OneLink+ Dock.

Wireless connections

Wireless connection is the transfer of data without the use of cables but by means of radio waves only.
Depending on the wireless devices installed on your computer, you might be able to use the following
wireless networks:
• Wireless LAN connection
• Bluetooth connection
Using the Airplane mode
Airplane mode is supported on the Windows 10 operating system. If the Airplane mode is enabled, all
wireless features are disabled.
To enable or disable the Airplane mode, do the following:
1. Open the Start menu.
