shooting
Service problems that appear to be major can often be solved
easily. You can be your own troubleshooter by reviewing this
guide. All other servicing should be done by an Oreck
authorized service center.
Problem
Cleaner will
not run
Steam is not
emitted when
the steam
cleaner is ON.
Unit still does
not operate
properly.

Check
• Not plugged in
properly.
• Wall outlet is
faulty.
• The power cable
is damaged.
• Water tank is
empty.
• Hard water filter
is clogged.
• The steam switch
is not activated
properly.
Check all the above
points.
Solution
• Be sure vacuum is
firmly plugged into
wall outlet.
• Check electrical
source – fuse or
circuit breaker.
• If power cable is
damaged, contact
Oreck for service.
• Fill water tank.
• Change water filter.
• Pull the trigger on
the handle to release
steam.
