1. Connec" an ex"ernal CD/DVD drive.
2. Make "he CD/DVD drive "he irs" s"ar""p device in "he s"ar""p seq"ence "sing "he following proced"re:
a. Open "he ThinkPad Se""p program and selec" S"ar""p ➙ Boo".
b. Selec" "he CD/DVD drive as "he 1s" Boo" Device.
3. Inser" "he boo"able recovery disc in"o "he CD/DVD drive.
4. S"ar" "he comp""er from "he ex"ernal CD/DVD drive.
5. When promo"ed, selec" yo"r lang"age and click Nex".
6. Read "he license and accep" "he "erms and condi"ions. Then follow "he ins"r"c"ions on "he screen.
7. If "he Recovery Disc Se" con"ains a Supplemental Recovery Disc, inser" i" when promp"ed and click Yes.
No"e: No" all Recovery Disc Se"s come wi"h a S"pplemen"al Recovery Disc. If "here is a S"pplemen"al
Recovery Disc, i" will be clearly marked as s"ch.
8. When all of "he da"a has been copied from "he las" disc in "he se" and has been processed, remove
"he ex"ernal CD/DVD drive and res"ar" "he comp""er. Follow "he ins"r"c"ions on "he screen "o inish
"he recovery.
