Using a ChargePAK
PURE ChargePAK E1 is a rechargeable battery pack which plugs into the socket in the radio's
battery compartment. Whenever your radio is connected to a mains supply and the power
switch on the rear is switched on, the ChargePAK will be charging and the power remaining will
be available to view as a percentage in the Information display options (> page 5). A complete
charge will provide about 20 hours of portable listening.
To purchase a PURE ChargePAK E1, contact your nearest PURE dealer.
Important: Verona can only be powered with a PURE ChargePAK E1 and is not compatible with
any other batteries, either disposable or rechargeable, or any other ChargePAK model. Always
switch the unit off and disconnect it from mains power before inserting or removing a ChargePAK.
Charge a new ChargePAK for 24 hours before fi rst using battery power. Carefully follow the
separate fi tting instructions that are supplied.
