Time data
Symptoms
Cannot freely set
the initial time data
value.
External video monitor
Symptoms
Data is not
superimposed on
the monitor screen.
The image on the
monitor screen is
too bright.
The image on the
monitor screen is
too dark.
Cause
Regen mode or Ext
regen mode is
selected.
Cause
The DISPLAY
button is turned off.
Superimposition is
disabled.
The 75 Ω
termination switch
for video input on
the monitor is in the
OFF position, or a
75 Ω terminator is
not fitted to its video
input connector.
In a video signal
loop-through
connection of
multiple video
monitors, 75 Ω
termination switches
for video input on
monitors other than
the loop-end
monitor are in the
ON position.
Remedy
Set "Mode" in "Timecode" of the TC/UB
SET menu to "Preset" (see page 89).
Remedy
Turn the DISPLAY button on.
Set "HDMI/CMPNT/SDI Out DISP" or
"CMPST/ S Out Display" of the VIDEO
SET menu to "On" (see page 87).
Set the 75 Ω termination switch to ON or
connect a terminator.
Set the 75 Ω termination switches to OFF
on all monitors other than the loop-end
monitor.
